Biography

Dr. Lawrence LaMont Turner was born to Bishop Lester & Pastor Robyn Turner February 18, 1973 in Kingsport Tennessee. Under the guidance of his parents, Dr. Turner served in many capacities at Mt. Zion Temple and Midway Shiloh Temple. At the age of five, Dr. Turner was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and was filled with the Holy Ghost. He accepted the call to the ministry at the age of twelve and at sixteen preached his first sermon "Put On Your Armor, It's Time To Fight!" He served two consecutive terms in the West Virginia and East Tennessee Council as the Young People Union's President. The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. ordained Dr. Turner by age 21. Desiring academic excellence in the sacred text, he attended Graham Bible College and Grace international University. He has a Bachelor of Christian Education, A Masters degree of Theology (Cum Laude) and in 1998 received a Doctorate of Divinity (Cum Laude). In 1998 Dr. Turner relocated to Wilmington, Delaware to serve as a ministerial intern under Bishop Thomas Wesley Weeks, Sr. at Greater Bethel Apostolic Temple and in April 2001, Dr. Turner was duly elected Pastor of Zion Temple Apostolic Church in Havre de Grace, Maryland.His travels have taken him across the United States, India and Africa preaching the unadulterated Word of God. He is truly a man after God's own heart and is sincerely loved by the Saints of Zion Temple. Dr. Turner is the father of one son, Lael Turner.
